With AssetCore's Event Hub, a service technician can view and analyze critical events in a customer's system at any time.
With configurable triggers, you define when events should be recorded in order to focus on the most important incidents. In the event of critical events, both manufacturers and service technicians receive immediate notifications via email, SMS or other channels, so that rapid responses are possible.
The Event Hub combines system signals, video recordings and sensor data to provide a complete picture of the situation — ideal for evaluating recurring errors and optimizing your systems.
With AssetCore, you can stream all important plant signals, sensor data and camera images in real time on a single platform. You get full access to live data no matter where you are — whether in the office, on the road, or on-site at the plant.
Thanks to standard protocols such as OPC-UA or MQTT, system data can be easily integrated into the platform, while sensor data is also seamlessly collected via IO-Link.
The integrated camera transmission allows you to monitor critical areas of your system via on-demand video, which makes it easier to react immediately to faults and increases transparency in plant operation.

Use Cases
In the event of a machine downtime or an accident, the service technician can access the fault history, all relevant machine signals and visual insights via AssetCore. This enables the service technician to precisely guide the customer remotely and get the machine back into operation quickly.
During start-up, the service technician can access all relevant information about the machine via AssetCore. If the customer allows remote access to the asset, software updates can be carried out completely remotely. In this way, new machines can be put into operation by AssetCore without a technician constantly having to be on site.
Machines are continuously monitored via AssetCore. Faults and abnormalities are automatically identified and transmitted to the manufacturer. The service technician can identify necessary measures such as replacement parts or maintenance based on the transmitted data and carry them out in a targeted manner.

What components does AssetCore consist of?
AssetCore consists of several components that can be used flexibly. This includes cameras that record production processes and are connected to an edge device. The edge device will be connected to the system to reliably record and process system data. The collected data is securely transferred to a cloud via a network. An intuitive dashboard gives you access to the data stored in the cloud and can view and analyze both the camera stream and the system data in real time. With the Event Explorer, you have access to historical data at any time and can subsequently analyze specific events that occur in the production process.
Where is my system data stored?
With AssetCore, you have two flexible options for storing and using your data. On the one hand, the data can be stored in a cloud (Microsoft Azure, server location in Germany), which gives you access worldwide and can access your live plant data from anywhere via a dashboard. On the other hand, we offer the option of setting up the system “offline” in your local network. In this case, the system data remains exclusively in your network and access is limited to it.
